Birthday appreciation post

Hi!

So my birthday is over and done with. It's safe to say my birthday was more than enough. Honestly, I'm the type of person who takes Hari Raya and birthdays seriously. Hari Raya = family time. Birthdays = to show your appreciation towards the birthday girl/boy. I guess as you grow older, you start to realize things. You know how sometimes all of us have our alter egos? Like for example, a part of you says "You yourself know that this world is only temporary, so why bother pleasing people? The one you should be pleasing is God and not society" and the other part of you says "society might not accept me if I change for the better, I'm scared therefore I let my fear take control of me". Duniawi.

Well I guess I haven't been posting proper posts, I kind of miss writing Everything down and I'm getting rusty. Very rusty, in fact.

So my birthday was on last Saturday (27/7). On Friday (26/7), I went to Empire with my mother, and cousins. At first the plan was to accompany my cousins shopping, and that's it. Then I sensed something fishy. They were avoiding me, and my mother asked me to buy cookies that cost around RM17+, very unusual of her. But I didn't want to expect anything, so I kept just kept quite. We then went to the Bazaar near PKNS bought some food for berbuka. We berbuka-ed at Alin's place. While waiting for berbuka, mother and I watched TV then ma's phone rang, "Ya, Najat's calling". Then it occurred to me "asal Najat tak call my phone je" so I asked ma to pick up. I didn't want to hear the conversation between ma and Najat so I chaw-ed. So ok, it was time for berbuka, Alin cooked ketam 3 rasa AND IT WAS SO GOOD. ++ Ayam masak merah and etc. After we finished eating, they did give hints like "Ya, are you fulll? You still have room for dessert?" Hahahhaha. But Adilah being Adilah, I still didnt get the hint.

Few hours later, the bell rang and then bam! I saw Zue, Najat and Hani as I was about to charge my phone. I froze. Immediely hugged them. They told me they wanted to 'kidnap' me, ha. Then out of the blue, my cousins, mother and my friends sang the birthday song. I froze, again. Not knowing how to react (typical  Adilah). I was close to tears, but I held em in ---

to be continued
